COMFORT AND SORROW - REMEMBER THIS

I recently met a Woman who Shared an Incredible Personal Story. Over 30 years ago she was driving with her two Children. She came to the stop, looked both ways and pulled out. No one saw it coming. Her Son was killed and both she and her Daughter horribly Injured.She went mad with Grief for a while and, understandably, was heavily medicated. Were it not for her Daughter she would have joined her Son

Years passed and She Buried All her Mother Grief Deep in her Heart. The Blame is always There...right Below the Surface. She stopped doing all the Things she Loves like Painting.

She paused. "I want to Tell you Somethinge Else. It's Strange..."

First she Recalled in her Grief going Outside before the Funeral...Numb and Angry. She looked up at the Sky and Roared with Grief and Anger at God. Then, she said, this Beautiful White Light surrounded Her. 

"Wait...I have one more Thing..."

She told me she Remembered before She was Born. There were two Angels with Her: Comfort and Sorrow. They told Her she didn't have to Go. She asked Them if it was going to be Hard. They Both nodded Solemnly but again reminded Her it was Her Choice. "Remember THIS" they said.

I asked her, "What about the Light?" She looked at me and said slowly "I used to Think God was Telling Me I was Weak." Me: "And now?"

"God was giving Me Strength and Comfort." 

And...what about THIS?

"Comfort and Sorrow. I forgot Comfort and Sorrow."

She is going to start Painting again and she Promised me her First Picture. She had Never Shared Her Story Before...THAT makes me Smile.
